PRIVATE 3-DAY TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA

PRIVATE TOUR — 3-DAY PRIVATE TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA
OVERVIEW

This is the recommended 3-day desert tour from Marrakech for travelers who want to spend a full day in the Merzouga desert instead of just passing through. The key difference compared to the standard 3-day circuit is that Day 1 goes directly to Merzouga — skipping the overnight stay in the Dades Valley — so both nights are spent in the desert and Day 2 is fully dedicated to exploration.

A visit to a nomadic family, Gnawa music in the village of Khamlia, the Bird Lake, and a sunset camel ride make Day 2 one of the most culturally rich days of any Morocco tour. Day 3 returns via the Draa Valley and Agdez.

Days 1 and 3 involve approximately 9 hours of driving each.
