The key improvement compared to the 3-day version is a third night in Ouarzazate, which breaks the long return journey into two manageable days, and adds time on Day 4 to properly visit Atlas Studios, the Taourirt Kasbah, the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah with a full walking tour, and even the Telouet Kasbah in the High Atlas. Day 1 heads southeast through the Skoura palm grove and the Rose Valley to the Dades Gorge. Day 2 follows the Todra Canyon to the Erg Chebbi desert for a camel ride and overnight in a desert camp. DAY 1: MARRAKECH → HIGH ATLAS → SKOURA → DADES GORGE

Pick-up in Marrakech. Crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass with panoramic stops. Lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate. Continue east through the Skoura palm grove (optional visit to Kasbah Amridil) and the Rose Valley. Explore the Dades Gorge in the afternoon — “Monkey Fingers” rock formations and panoramic viewpoints.

Dinner and overnight in a hotel in the Dades Valley.

DAY 2: DADES GORGE → TODRA CANYON → MERZOUGA → LUXURY CAMP

Panoramic view over the Dades Gorge. Drive along the Todra and Dades rivers lined with palm groves and Berber villages to reach the Todra Canyon. Walk through the canyon. Continue to Merzouga. Camel ride at sunset, arrival at the luxury desert camp, dinner, campfire, and drum music.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA → KHAMLIA → RISSANI → AGDEZ → OUARZAZATE

Sunrise in the desert. Return from the camp. Visit Khamlia village for a Gnawa music performance with Sub-Saharan roots. Explore the Rissani market (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays). Travel through the Draa Valley via Agdez with a panoramic stop. Arrival in Ouarzazate in the afternoon.

DAY 4: OUARZAZATE → AIT BEN HADDOU → TELOUET KASBAH → HIGH ATLAS → MARRAKECH

Ouarzazate: visit Atlas Studios (one of the largest film studios in the world) and Taourirt Kasbah. Full walking tour of Ait Ben Haddou — the UNESCO-listed ksar featured in Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and many other productions. Visit Telouet Kasbah in the High Atlas. Return to Marrakech.
